When my grandfather Pastor Domingo Botello gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ, tent revivals were a common method of evangelism in Texas. Night after night my grandfather,  along with many other believers, worshiped the Lord under the Texas sky while at the same time ministering the mighty Gospel of Jesus Christ. Tent revivals were my grandfather's heart and passion and after years of helping others with their tents and ministries, the Lord blessed him with a tent of his own. My grandfather and his tents went all over Texas and Mexico for over 35 years. After wearing out a few tents he had to retire them; even blessing a church in Mexico with one. Now that my grandfather's with the Lord, our church and family are continuing what he started. Over the years we've set up the tent in Mathis, Robstown, Beeville, and Austin, lifting up Christ and what He paid for us at the Cross!
